Slow Cooker Beef Brisket Rolls
Shredded beef brisket slow-cooked with onions and beer, piled into soft rolls with a tangy sauce.

METHOD
1Heat the oil in a frying pan and sear the brisket on all sides until browned, then place in the slow cooker.2Slice the onions and add to the pan, cooking for 5 minutes until soft, then crush in the garlic and cook for 1 minute.3Stir in the tomato puree and brown sugar, then pour in the ale and crumble in the stock cube.4Pour the onion mixture over the brisket in the slow cooker.5Cover and cook on low for 5 hours until the beef is falling apart.6Shred the beef with two forks in the sauce.7Pile the beef into the sub rolls and spoon over extra sauce.
